SEDONA, Ariz. — The Prostate Cancer Institute of America Foundation is putting the finishing touches on what promises to be one of northern Arizona’s premier charity golf events, combining championship golf, unforgettable player experiences, and a meaningful mission to improve the lives of men and families affected by prostate cancer.
The Foundation’s inaugural Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start at one of Sedona’s premier golf destinations – Seven Canyons Golf Club, 625 Golf Club Way, Sedona, AZ. The course boasts red-rock views, an upmarket restaurant, and single-family homes & townhomes.
Proceeds from the tournament will support the Foundation’s efforts to advance prostate cancer awareness, education, patient resources, and research initiatives.
This year’s tournament will feature several exciting on-course activations provided by BackSwing Golf Events, giving participants opportunities to compete, win prizes, and create lasting memories throughout the day.
Beat the Pro Challenge
Golfers can put their skills to the test against golf professional Megan Marty during the popular Beat the Pro Challenge on a par-3 hole.
Participants may purchase entries for multiple chances to win a $300 Bad Birdie Gift Card. Players who beat the pro will double their raffle entries, while foursomes that participate together will receive a bonus scoring incentive—adding another layer of fun while helping keep play moving efficiently.
Air Cannon Experience
Another fan favorite arrives on a par-4 where players can launch their golf ball down the fairway using the Air Cannon Experience.
Golfers will compete in a Closest-to-the-Pin Challenge for additional prizes while enjoying one of the most entertaining attractions found at charity golf tournaments across the country. The Air Cannon can also feature sponsor branding, creating additional visibility for tournament partners.

Businesses and golfers are encouraged to register early.
For a limited time, foursomes registered by August 17 will receive a complimentary Hole Sponsorship—a $1,000 value. The special promotion provides companies with additional recognition on the course while supporting an event dedicated to improving men’s health.
